Not enough can be said about how influential, talented, or awesome this guy has been in the 40 year career he has had.

How is it that this guy is NOT in the RnR HOF? They should be ashamed of themselves..

I never got into the Coop. He's one of the pioneering "shock rockers", though I really don't find him that shocking. He was a very theatrical type of guy.

Alice may seem a little tame compared to say, Marilyn Manson or Behemoth or Rammstein, but when he first came out in the 1970's, people were going apeshit about him- in fact I believe a couple people called him an "Antichrist".
I grew up listening to him. I've been a fan ever since I first heard "elected" when I was about 9 or 10.
Has anyone here ever been to the restaurant he owns in Phoenix? It's called Alice Cooperstown. Great place for BBQ and live bands, and their house beer, Python Pale Ale, is especially good.

Yeah I forgot that he grew up in Phoenix, never knew he had a restaurant though :afro: I remember first seeing Alice Cooper on the muppet show as a kid which was ironically some of the best theatrics I've seen from him

I met Alice when he played in Oslo in 2001. He's prolly one of the most down to earth persons I've ever met.
Welcome To My Nightmare, Raise Your Fist and Yell and Brutal Planet is my fave albums by him...

New album in the works. The working title is The Night Shift. He's playing a nearby town here as well in June and I have plans to go there.

The album will be out soon and the title is Welcome 2 My Nightmare, and you guessed it...it's a sequel to the classic Welcome To My Nightmare album. I gonna see him this summer and have hopes for a scary stage show...

He does play some good tunes on his show, but his constant name dropping is annoying.

He was opening for Iron Maiden in Oslo last week. He did a shorten set-list compared to the one above. He still kick ass...

I picked up Welcome 2 My Nightmare some time ago for a reasonable price. I was actually quite surprised. If you don't compare it much with the classic Nightmare album, it's one of his best releases for decades...
