| This is a Heavy Metal band from the UK. They're said to be one of the most influential bands to the metal genre. They formed in 1968. Machine Head is easily my favorite Deep Purple album, although I enjoy all a lot of thier work.
Anyone like them? |

| Deep Purple are simply fantastic. I've seen them live several times and even though it's patchwork lineup they still rock. Machine Head and Stormbringer are my favorites. | |

Yes, Deep Purple was one of the basic rock band of the world long years ago. My favorite is "Made In Japan" double live album. |

In Rock, Fireball, Burn and Perfect Strangers. You can't go wrong with those. Stormbringer is good too, but imo Glenn Hughes funky bass and vocals have too much impact on the album. | |

| I kinda got tired of listening to Purple, especially as their last few albums have been dire. But I made my own best of collection in my car, it mostly has stuff from In Rock, Machine Head, Made in Japan, Burn, Stormbringer and Purpendicular. | |
