If you wanna check out their old songs, I suggest XXV. It's basically a compilation with some of their greatest tracks from 1983-2004. (It's called XXV since it was released last year, 25th anniversary and all)

Check out "Necrolust" and "Morbid Reich", the latter being one of the most succesful Death Metal demos ever recorded.

They have some awesome albums and songs. They didn't really impress me live though. Then again they might be one of those bands that are best enjoyed on a large stage then on the small one I went to.

I tried to like them, but the only release I like a little bit is "The Art Of War". Can't say it's a bad band. It's impossible to not have any respect for Peter, but it's not my favourite kind of stuff, really.

I wouldn't say every album is. Some of them do suck. But overall they are a very good band.

well, for me, no album can overtop The Art of War-- that was the first Vader album I listened to and it blew my mind away...but I`ve heard all the other albums too and I can tell you -they`re great imo! an amazing death metal band. love them. \m/

Well, Vader fucking rules. One of the first death metal bands I listened to..
De Profundis and Litany are my fav albums. The drumming is excellent as hell..
