Opera IX is an Italian Progressive Black Metal band with Doom, Death and Gothic influences. Not bad in my opinion and worth to look in too.

I don't like them at all. I bought one of their albums very cheaply and it wasn't worth at all, they're just not very good.

Normally I prefer Scandinavian BM or Black Thrash here in the states, but these guys are cool. The more bands with high quality production albums the better imo Opera IX 546327

Black Opera is their only worthwhile album. And that mostly because of the Bauhaus cover.
