    October Tide is a Melodic Death/Doom Metal band which is formed by Jonas Renkse and Fredrik Norrman of Swedish Doom Metal band Katatonia. They released only two albums between 1997 and 1999 (originally under Avantgarde, now released under Peaceville) prior to Katatonia’s evolution to Last Fair Deal Gone Down (2001). “Rain Without End” album was recorded in ‘95, though it wasn’t released until ‘97. The had disbanded itself cause of their “inspiration ran dry” and Renkse & Norrman decided to fully concentrate on Katatonia instead.

    I feel you man, mee too.. October Tide 8480 And i have the feeling that we never will get to hear something like Dance of decembers souls again.. :/

    No no, nothing wrong with it, but yeah the old stuff was clearly better. For me atleast.

    They came up with a new album on Sept 28th...I'm downloading it right now. This is the first time I'm giving them a listen and it sounds real good.
