Full length albums or EPs

Which one do you prefer and why?

Abums for me. You get a lot of out of 'em. They have more songs and it's longer.

I'd say "abums" as well. They simply have more songs... and for the most part, don't cost much more than EPs.

Albums all the way because I get more for the money I spend.

I said EPs because in general, EPs tend to have more quality to them as opposed to LPs, which most of the time have filler, whch isn't worth it.

Well, I barely listen to EPs at all actually if their not a must from a band (i.e "Haunting the Chapel" by Slayer).

IMO EPs are kind of useless. I only get them if I am wondering if I should buy a full length.

Pretty much this. Althought sometimes EPs can kick serious arse.

Albums are a more complete presentation of where a band is coming from. EPs usually consists of maybe one or two new tracks and usually covers or "rare" versions etc; Albums for me.

It depends on the quality of the songs. Mos EP's will have a couple of very good songs on them with no fillers.

Those seem to be very few nowadays but sometimes EPs are essential; Mortuary Drape has two excellent EPs that are better than some of their albums.

Sodom is a perfect example of how an EP can be better than a full lenght album. In the Sign of Evil is many times better than The Final Sign of Evil

it dosent make much of a difference to me...EP's sometimes have better track listings compared to full albums, but tbh it dosent matter

Depends on my mood; my favorite albums are usually 30-40 minutes in length. Of course there are always exceptions.
