I haven't listened to Agalloch in quite some time up until the other day. I seem to always forget about this band. These guys are great. The Mantle and The White EP are fucking incredible.

I wouldnt call them the PERFECT band..... the vocals kind of get annoying after a bit.

The music is fantastic though!

thats whats so hard to get into when it comes to this kind of metal, you have to deal with the repetitive vocals\riffs.

i like it anyway but heh, each to their own mush Crush PC

Woods of Ypres is the closest i can come up with. Buth stil they aren't close and nearly as good as agalloch.

none of them are even nearly as awesome ...

Just recently started to listen to them, Have only heard Ashes Against the Grain so far and it's got some potential. Gotta spend some more time on them though.
