| Altars of Madness ranks pretty high up for my favorite DM albums. Not the top but possibly top 5. This was one of the first DM bands for me, so they'll always rank pretty high for me, I suppose. |

| Morbid Angel is my all-time favorite death metal band. I like pretty much everything but I suppose Altars of Madness is the best album they've done. Hey, does anyone now anything about the new album? I've only heard the new song "Nevermore" on youtube but that clip was in shit-quality xD |

| I think Morbid Angel was one of the first, if not the first, dm bands I listened to. Altars is killer but Blessed is my favorite MA disc; "Desolate Ways" by itself makes the disc for me. |

| Morbid Angel is responsible for me getting into death metal. I remember watching Beavis & Butthead one late night (stupid fucking censors moved it up from prime time to 11:00 PM). B&B were watching the music video for God of Emptiness. I was really into this and I loved it. This was back in 1994-1996. I don't remember when exactly. I was totally floored by the vocals and it was better than other rock and metal I listened to at the time. So uhh yeah, Morbid Angel has a special place in my heart as far as death metal goes.
I have all of their albums all the way up to Formulas Fatal to the Flesh on CD. I never really got into the other albums. Maybe one of these days I'll buy 'em. I might download the last 2 albums first and then buy the CDs. I'm not sure. Or I'll buy the CD's first. I read that MA might release their new album this year. We'll see about that. Dave Vincent is back with them, so that's cool. I did like Steve Tucker and he was a great vocalist/bassist for MA. However, Dave Vincent is the man for MA. He's the best vocalist they have ever had. It's cool to see that he's back. |
