WTH , how can there be no thread with em


Count raven is an traditional doom metal band from Sweden, formed back in 1987, with no weak release imo this can't be overlooked. Like many classic doom bands they got their biggest inspieration from Black Sabbath, and here we can even hear som vocal similarities.

Storm Warning and Destruction of the void are amazing albums!

I absolutely love this band. I thought that their final release was pretty average but the rest of the albums are pretty amazing. The vocalist has an Ozzy-ih fell and their if obviously a lot of Black Sabbath influence but still the band slays.

Yeah true, their latest aren't as good as the rest , though thoose albums are pretty amazing, essentials for a classic doom fan.

The vocals are awesome, and black sababth influence usaully aren't a bad thing either.

FFS people how can all you domsters have missed this band *sigh* one of the most classic swedish ones.

And last record Mammons war was on of the best records of 2009..

I got Mammons War on CD today...what an exellente album. Destruction Of the Void is on my Sony Walkman as well...nice listening to while skiing

Nashira is my fave song so far this year....

I have to listen to Mammon's War a few more times.

Yeah it was awesome seeing them, they were some nice funny dudes. And really good shw, maybe a bit short and a smal but enthuiastic crowd so they put on a good show. Noctum was really good as well.

They played 1 or 2 songs more but i can't remember which ones..
