Diabolical Masquerade was a one-man black metal band formed in 1993 in Stockholm, Sweden by Anders "Blakkheim" Nyström (Katatonia, Bloodbath) His partner in crime, the legendary Dan Swanö helped him out along the way with drumming, guest vocals and production duties.
They released four full-length albums, with Ravendusk in my Heart and Nightwork being my personal favourites. The music leans heavily on avant-garde melodic black metal with some death and thrash metal influences.. I think they’re really good, so check them out and see what you think!
