I just did a search and I can't believe this band does not have a thread. I should be ashamed of myself.

Earth are a Drone/Doom Metal band from the USA. Formed in 1990 they have an impressive list of full lengths as well as EP's and splits.

Phase 3: Thrones and Dominions, Hibernaculum, and The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull are probably my three favorite albums but I love them all.

Have only heard The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull and Hibernaculum, but some really solid stuff. Relaxing

Earth is an awesome band, I love all their stuff, but my favorite albums would be Pentastar - In the Style of Demons, Hibernaculum and The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull, I cant believe we didnt have a thread about them O_o but they`re great, this music always helps me to relax

It's demanding stuff and I think you have to be in the right frame of mind for it. Heard 'The Bees...' and while it was good, I just couldn't listen to it all the time.

But then again I kinda feel that way about most Drone.
