| Kreator are an old school German Thrash Band, formed in 84. My favorite album is probably 'Extreme Agression'. They produced mostly all good albums, except for 'Cause for Conflict'. So, overall, they're an alright German Thrash Band.
Any fans?

| Not a fan, find them one of the worst sell-outs in the history of thrash metal (along with acts such as Metallica) but their "Coma Of Souls" is one of my favorite thrash metal albums. Other than that, I find "Pleasure To Kill" to be terribly overrated (along with Slayer's "Reign In Blood"), while other pre-Coma releases to be "ok, but nothing extremely special about 'em". Everything post-Coma is just ridiculous and lame. |

How on earth are Kreator sellouts? Especially on a scale like Metallica? Hordes of Chaos and Enemy of God were brutal, although Pleasure To Kill is their best. The reason PTK and RIB are rated so high is because at the time they were the fastest, most aggressive albums on the market - they may seem less impressive now with bands like Brain Drill and Origin maintaining a constant 350 BPM or whatever, but back in the day this was the fastest and most extreme shit available, plus they both heavily influenced Death Metal. |

| I'm definitely gonna check out "Extreme Aggression". There was another album that's up there that Heat recommended, forgot what it was... | |

| Great live band!
I love their latest releases, but they had also some marvelous cd's in the past, like Pleasure To Kill. It just destroys the listener!! I love the violent and agressive energy of the album. Extreme Agression was also quite listenable. |

| Kreator's Pleasure to Kill is a fine fucking thrash metal. It's totally awesome. Endless Pain is a killer debut album. Those are the only Kreator albums I enjoy listening to. |

| I love Kreator, especially old albums, but new stuff is awesome too. Albums like Pleasure To Kill are once for twenty years. |

| I like them, but not as much as in the past. I like their albums from Extreme Aggression till Violent Revolution and prefer their more experimental albums. |

| I like Violent Revolution a lot more. I think that from the 90's till Violent Revolution every album sounds really different and the last 2 albums lack that. |

| Yeah you are right but that doesnt make it a bad album does it? The latest one sounds like left overs from Enemy of God, which really disappointed me. |

Well technically not, but the music didn't grab me and just like Kreator I moved away from thrash metal in the late 90's. Violent Revolution was good for me because of the melody and because they didn't play real thrash metal for so long, so it was ok. But after this album they released 2 more real thrash metal albums without really experiment or do originel things, so it's not my cup of tea. |

| I wasn't aware their 3 last albums were real thrash...it's more like gothenburg melodeath with a side of thrash. Though Hordes of Chaos is more thrash than EOG and Violent Revolution. | |
