The Beatles

Any fans of The Beatles? Not exactly a big influence in metal. I'm surprised as all hell that there's no topic about 'em.

I only like a handful of songs. My two main favorites are Day Tripper and Helt Skelter. The rest is not OK and I can't be arsed to mention them. Day Tripper is a very fun song to play on the guitar. I'll play it occasionally on the guitar.

My reasoning is this. Yes, they did make a huge splash when bringing their act here to the USA. But the way I see it that just happened to be luck. Their music was not that unique at the time. Their later material is not bad but overall they get way too much attention.

His peace message was basically the reason why he garnered as much of a following as he did. Again his music was just ok.

Never really got into them although I appreciate the huge impact they had on music.

Much prefer them to the Stones.

It's true! One of the worst vocalists ever! .... and I use the term "vocalist" loosely since typically a person needs to have the ability to sing to be a vocalist.

I don't know, I don't think he's any worse than John Lennon, Frank Sinatra or Ozzy. I use those guys as examples because they all have similar timbres to their voices.
