| The Absence is an American melodic death metal band from Tampa, Florida. Their style can be described as very "Swedish" because of their main influences which are bands like At the Gates, Edge of Sanity, Dismember and Arch Enemy. So far they've released three albums; "From Your Grave", "Riders of the Plague" and "Enemy Unbound". I REALLY recommend this band to everyone. "Riders of the Plague" is probably one of the best death metal album I've heard in a very long time. Truly awesome stuff!  | |
