Brütal Legend

Anyone else excited for this game?

For the uninitiated, Brütal Legend is a Tim Schafer game about a roadie who, during a stage accident while working for the worst 'metal' band out there, falls into the barbaric ancient world of metal where humanity is enslaved by demons. It stars Jack Black (who actually manages to be funny and work awesomely, unlike in most of his other work) as the roadie, Eddie Riggs (name inspired by Eddie the Head and his creator, Derek Riggs) and also features the voices of Lemmy, Rob Halford, Lita Ford and Ozzy Osbourne. It's also got an awesome metal soundtrack that, while it does have a few annoying bands like Dimmu Burger and Dragonforce, includes awesome and unexpected bands like Metal Church, Enslaved, Skeletonwitch and Mirrorthrone.



I've had it preordered since I first knew I could preorder it and it's coming out Tuesday, so I can't wait.

This has been in the works for a long time, right? I remember hearing rumours of it a couple of years ago. I doubt it's coming to PS2, maybe I should join the 20th Century...

ah yeah heard about this... i hope there will be a pc version...

It's Xbox 360 an PS3 only. I remember buying an Xbox 360 two years ago simply because of this game. It looks quite awesome and I've played the demo which in itself is awesome..

Man, i cant wait to get that game. Graphics looks good, hope gameplay will be good, and the plot will be interesting/
Anyway, I hope it wont suck, cause im waiting for this one for a long time.

Fucking hate that they got rid of Dio because of Ozzys whining. Still looking forward to it though.

that blows that its not pc... since i refuse to fork out a shitton of money on a system thats subpar to my pc and i cant pirate games

i played the demo today... and omg... its awesome
in recent years ive actually been gaining some respect for jack black with things hes been doing and this was a big +1 for him again, he plays the role perfectly

This game looks fuckin sweet. Soundtrack could be better, but hey, it's metal!

haha brutal is so legendary funny, and story is very good just too bad u finish it in 18 h of playing.
hope they will make new one, imagine u can play ozzy who kills masses of demons
