Dickie Peterson, bassist and vocalist of the psychedelic acid rock band Blue Cheer, who also paved the way to metal music, died on October 12, 2009. Blue Cheer did indeed leave a notable legacy for others to study and/or appreciate. Heck, I was just getting into Blue Cheer and this had to happen. Well, Dickie Peterson deserves to rest in peace.
