Ozzy Osbourne

İ see the black sabbath in here what about ozzy? he has a own brand after the sabbath i think that his songs are also good after it. İ m listening now the zombie stone track.

I like some Ozzy's songs, but still think that Dio's much better a singer than Ozzy (technically atleast )
I didn't like Black Rain though..

The whole The Osbournes reality show on MTV ruined a lot for me about Ozzy. Damn, he have made a handful of solid albums through the 80's and first half of the 90's, but this fooker Sharon is all greed and money. Ozzy would prolly been dead for 30 years if it wasn't for Sharon, but now she's milking it for all it's worth. Sad.

The last two studio albums is his weakest effort in his entire musical career.

Blizzard Of Ozz, Diary Of A Madman, The Ultimate Sin, No Rest For The Wicked and No More Tears are real Ozzy, Bark At The Moon is great,but Ozzmosis is cool, I can't get into the Down To Earth and Black Rain, Under Cover is useless. He was best in the Black Sabbath without the two sentences.

I also agree with Vogg about the while Sharon thing.

Ozzy Osbourne is cool. I have just Ozzman Cometh. It's a really great compilation that covers his whole career. It also has an unreleased bonus track, Back on Earth.

Ozzy has a few good songs, his albums as an overall are below average. As Voggis says, the MTV show completely ruined how I perceived Ozzy, but I am sure there is a fair amount of acting going on there.

I'm actually shocked that Ozzy is still alive.

Don't care for his solo work. Maybe a few decent songs, nothing I listen to though.

After hearing the albums 8,000 times, I am just bored with them.

Ozzy, the Godfather of metal.
I love this guy. In BS was great, first 4 albums are (for me) best.
In solo. Are also great.

I'm not so much into solo-Ozzy, Rhoads had his moment's but that's all. His nose was essential in Sabbath, but after that it went downhill, for Ozzy and Sabbath also. I've never cared so much for Dio either.

The new Ozzy album will be out in July. Scream is set as the title. This will be the first album since The Ultimate Sin that Zakk Wylde don't play on. The new guy is is Gus G. who have played with Firewind, Dream Evil, Mystic Prophecy and Nightrage before.

Ozzy's solo work is something I have never been into. IMO he needs the Sabbath in order to be interesting.

First 2 albums are good...Bark at the Moon is ok...After that meh...I'd like to hear something new from him with a new guitar player though...

None of his 80's stuff is bad, after that i think it becames really boring..with some good songs.

blizzard of oz, diary of a madman, bark at the moon and the ultimate sin is really good albums.


More people should give the ultimate sin a try, great album with some of his best songs imo.

The "b-side", or if you prefer the CD, the last four songs of Ultimate Sin is awsome. The two albums he did with Randy Rhoads is classics, but my fave by him have to be No Rest For the Wicked. I really like Ozzmosis as well.

I never really listened muc to those 2...I'll have to give them a chance...

I don't think I've read any good reviews of Ozzmosis...I can't quite understand the hate for this album....

New album due out in a few weeks....
