As you know, very many metal bands have performed cover tracks. My favourites are:

Twilight Guardians - La Isla Bonita (Madonna cover)
Children of Bodom - Oops! I Did It Again (Britney Spears cover)
Destruction - Killers (Iron Maiden cover)
Wolf - Deja Vu (Iron Maiden cover)
Norther - Final Countdown (Europe cover)
Ensiferum - Mä Näitä Polkuja Tallaan (Matti ja Teppo cover)

Do you have any favourites?

Iron Maiden - King Of Twilight (Nektar cover)
Dream Theater - To Tame A Land (Iron Maiden cover)
HammerFall - Detroit Rock City (Kiss cover)
Metallica - The Small Hours (Holocaust cover)

I'm sure there's a couple more, but these are the ones that came to mind....

Have you heard the Fireball Ministry version? It's insanely good. They also do a great job with Joe Walsh/Barnstorm's version of "Turn To Stone".
