Blacksmith was a melodic hevy metal band from Sweden, with Per Englund on vocals.

They released their first Ep in 1985, titled Gipsy Queen. Great Ep, great vocals and some really good riffs. After releasing a single in 1986, they split up, But after some big response in the late ninties from especially japanese fans, they reformed to record their first ull length album, once upon a star.

Anyone who likes early progressive metal/heavy metal should check this ep out. A bit like early Queensryche, Fates Warning etc. Singer actually at the beginning reminds me of Kai Hainsen.
