Poetry For The Poisoned was pushed back a little, but will be out on September 14. Another one I've been looking forward too this year....most of the songs was written in a cabin not long from where I live in february '09 during a several day heavy snowfall. Roy's father had to dig him and Thomas Youngblood out with his tractor... lol...

Cant wait for the new one. I love Kemelot!!

The Black Halo is my favorite from them. Melodic power prog doesn't get much better than that album.

The new album gets better each time I listen to it. The only beef I have with it is that it is a bit too mid-paced.

The band has post-poned the North American tour as singer Roy Kahn has fallen ill and have returned to Norway for medical treatment.

I think it was a smart move rather than bringing in the singer from Circus Maximux to fill in for the tour

Roy Khan has officially announced his departure from the band. At the moment Fabio Lione (Rhapsody Of Fire) who's doing the vocals on the current tour.

It may be the case for many other bands, but Kamelot have had a quite steady line-up. Thomas Youngblood and Sean Tibbets are original members. Casey Grillo joined in 1997 and Roy Khan in 1998. As far as I know none of them had any projects outside the band.
There's been a few keyboard players throughout the years, but I guess they just have been hired guns anyway...

KAMELOT recently announced that Swedish vocalist Tommy Karevik, the frontman for SEVENTH WONDER, has been tapped as the band's new singer.

And to be honest I don't know shit about either Tommy or Seventh Wonder...guess I have to check them out...
