| Not to be confused with the blackened thrash metal band from Japan. Sabbat are an eighties Thrash Metal band from England who released three albums from the late eighties to early nineties. Fronted by Martin Walkyier (of Skyclad fame) and Lead Guiatrist Andy Sneap (who went on to become a successful music producer), the bands first two albums (History of a Time to Come and Dreamweaver) are essential Thrash albums that any self-respecting metalhead should hear. The band has returned to active status although only for touring purposes, no future albums are planned. Metal-ArchiveLast.fm (I wouldn't bother with this, its just filled with inane debates by prepubescent teenagers). Myspace | |

| Dreamweaver is a nice album and Andy Sneap is no doubt one of the best metal producers nowadays as well... | |

| Bloody shame they're not planning any new releases any time soon. I can vouch for Dreamweaver and and History Of A Time To Come being absolutely awesome pieces of essential thrash, though I haven't heard any of their other releases, much to my regret. | |

Their third album Mourning Has Broken was weak. You're not missing much. | |

| On a side note...Andy Sneap is now playing in the NWOBHM band Hell...actually replacing Dave Halliday (RIP) who taught Andy to play guitar. | |
