| The Swedish rock band The Hellacopters was formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 1994 as a side project by Nicke Andersson (a founding member of the Swedish death metal bands Entombed and Death Breath ), with Dregen (guitar) (who later left the band to concentrate on his other band Backyard Babies), Kenny Håkansson (bass) and Robert Eriksson (drums). Robert Dahlqvist,"Strings"(lead guitar) met the other members while working in a bar and replaced Dregen in 1999. Also in the band is Anders Lindström(keyboard, tambourine and guitar), better known as Boba.
A great rock n' roll band with the music genius nicke andersson.
They have several great albums, all are really good. Especially rock n roll is dead i would say.

| I have seen them three times live, I think. First time they opened for Kiss in 1997, and only a week later I saw them at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark. If i remember correctly they played at Roskilde in 2000 too. They really rock live, even tho I not much into their albums. Supershitty To the Max! is Ok... | |

| Oh nice, yeah they should be a band to be suited live. You are lucky as the have broke up now..
Check out their later album Vogg, imo opinion their later albums are the best.
There is a big difference, not at all as punky and much better quality.

| I actually lean the other way, as in I LOVE their earlier stuff, and they softened their sound WAY too much on later records (same with Dregen and Backyard Babies). I'm pretty jealous you got to see them live Vogg cuz I'm pretty sure it'll never happen again. | |

| I really don't like their comparison with Backyard Babies. Cause i love the Hellcopters and think that backyard are quite bad. I feel that they are nothing alike too. As The Hellacopters play a old garage rock n' roll backyard babies has gotten into a quite poppy punk rock.. | |

| I'm listening to "Carry Me Home", and I like it! Though I can't help but think that this has a little alternative in it. In any case, it's still good music | |

| Alternative..no not at all. Well they are also death metal legends so nothing mainstream about it.
Pretty pure 70's inspired rock .

| Well as they got side death metal acts and are not active any more so that's not likely. Would be pretty weird.x D | |
