| This is DeathMetalGod from Last.fm. I've been into metal since I could remember. Whenever I discovered that you could buy it and stuff. I got it. My first metal album was Master of Puppets. I never asked for it, my cousins got it for me for my 10th birthday. That pretty much properly introduced me to metal. As for death metal, I remember watching Beavis & Butthead in the mid 90's and I saw Morbid Angel. That introduced me to death metal. In '97, my old best friend had a tape of Vile by Cannibal Corpse and that my proper introduction to death metal. Then I really got into death metal more in 2001. I'm a vocalist/guitarist and I've been one for 10 years. Chuck Schuldiner and other vocalist/guitarists are my influences.  |

Hell yeah! Suffocation rocks! Doom metal is cool, but I don't listen to regularly. I should since it totally rocks.  |
