I guess most people have heard of them as Bruce Dickinson was the singer in this band before he joined Iron Maiden.

Oh yeah...I got several of their albums on CD and LP.
My favorite is Don't Get Mad, Get Even...it's a shame it never have been released on CD, though.

Another release by them worth checking out is The BBC Sessions. The songs on it is from four different sessions from 1979, 1984, 1986 and 1989. Very good and energic versions of the songs.
As much as I love Bruce Dickinson, I have to say that the more unpolished vocals by Nicky Moore suited Samson better. The four songs from the 1984 session is absolutely amazing.

Yes they are, but Head On is by far the best Samson album to me.

Don't Get Mad, Get Even. Brilliant song writing from Paul Samson and Nicky Moore is doing a really nice job at the mic....

My favourite album is Before The Storm. I prefer the Nicky Moore line up slightly over the Bruce version.
Also the final Paul Samson album P.S... reunited with Nicky Moore is well worth a listen.
