| Cool black metal band from Sweden formed in 95. Vocals are dicey depending on what you like. Very horrifc sounding shrieks by vocalist Nattramn. 'Death - Pierce Me' is the only album.
Check them out if you haven't. |

completely agree with you; the album holds up very poorly over time. |

| It took a while to grow on me, and even now it's not in heavy rotation, but at certain times, I'll just put it on repeat for hours.
And yea, the vocals definitely take some getting used to. It sounds like a guy trying to do guttural vocals with his balls in a pair of vice grips. |

| Ok so lately I've developed a major obsession with DSBM, and during this time I came across this band. Has anyone else heard their stuff? The singer scared the fuck out of me the first time I heard him, sounds like some kind of demented, psychotic relative of Dr. Rockso. http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=8476 | |

| The Silencer album is a good listen every once in awhile but it's a little boring at times; The vocals are absolutely sick though. It's more or less complete Bethlehem worship music-wise. |

| Yeah it is quite similar to Bethlehem, and I'll agree the album drags on a bit but it's pretty damn enjoyable and it really does create a hopeless and depressed atmosphere. I just can't get over how fucked up the vocals are, the guy sounds like he's gonna jump out of the closet, rape you and then rip your dick off and eat it. | |

| Hmm well I listened to it a few times, but it gets boring quite fast. First listens are great though. |

that's probably an accurate description. Nattramn or whatever as far as I know was or is in and out of insane asylums. |

| I cannot help but laugh at the vocals every time. I dont think they are very good. But his ambient project is neat and its backstory (if true) is very compelling |

| Any chance you can post the backstory, Simon? Sounds interesting. | |

| from what I have read the main guy was put in an insane asylum, and part of his therapy is music therapy and this is what he made. http://www.diagnoselebensgefahr.com/http://www.myspace.com/diagnoselebensgefahrI know he was put there, but Im not sure if the music is what was actually made during his stay, you know how you have to take these things with a grain of salt. OR it could be a completely awesome metal story |
