Greatest band ever...well almost...definetly one of the best.

Along with Deep Purple and Black Sabbath best rock band in the world, I don't know a people which don't know them...even 12-14 years old kids heard about them from the parents. I love almost all their stuff.

zepp is the one of the group from magnificent three with sabbath and purple they changed the rock n roll music to hard rock and threw the seeds of heavy metal with black sabbath.

I've got all of their albums...both on vinyl and CD. Haven't heard much on them in a while, though...

This is the best rock/metal band in the world ever, end of. What more could you want from a rock band?

Thundering riffs, rock god vocals, deep bass, monstrous drums, weaving from heavy as ass rock through to delicate as gossamer folk.

And this band were formed before I was born!!!!

Favorite album is III...I can't think of a better opener as Immigrant Song. Despite the thunderous opener, the album is quite mellow with a lot of songs built around Jimmy Page acoustic guitars.

My fave tune, however, is No Quarter from Houses Of the Holy.

It's about time again to spin some Zepp albums.....

My favorite albums are Led Zeppelin I and the live album How The West Was Won.
In my opinion The Ocean and You Shook Me are two of the best songs ever.

They're alright, I only like two Led Zeppelin songs. Whole Lotta Love and Rock and Roll. Yeah, the only Zeppelin songs I like. I respect 'em a lot though since they were influential on heavy metal. They're not metal, they were just influential with it. Maybe, maybe I'd consider 'em borderline metal. Other than that, they're A-OK to me.

I appreciate them but never really saw the big deal to be honest. They're also played far too often on rock radio stations; it reduces their appeal for me. People love them, fair enough, but I wouldn't feel bad if I never got to hear anything by them ever again.

I think it shows the diversity of Zeppelin's catalogue. It's hard to avoid a band from being played on radio that have fans from all ages and picking up new fans every day.
I guess they have like 3 or 4 songs that is "radio friendly", but the rest of their songs is quite hard to fit in on a regular radio station.

I don't think it takes away they uniqeness.

Tell that to PlanetRock - they play different Zep all the time.

I just don't get them.

I've really been feeling this band lately. "Led Zeppelin IV" is just terrific

For some reason III is my fave by them...but none of their releases is sub-par...pure quality from I to In Through the Outdoor....

Really hard to choose of favourite as they got so many great albums.. mine would probably be IV actuallyl.
It's all good though.
