Yeah, I was a bit suprised aswell that it didn't exist any thread at first but now it does Yeah, they're a real "kick-ass" band. Too bad they don't exist anymore :(

Terminal Spirit Disease! That album rules and I love it. Slaughter of the Soul is their most overrated album, but it's not big deal. I happen to prefer Terminal Spirit Disease, the first ATG album I bought.

I only have "Slaughter Of the Soul" and I think it's killer. From their older stuff that I've heard, that also sounds interesting.

I've got "The Red in the Sky is Ours" and it's pretty meh to me, is Slaughter of the Soul worth checking out?

Slaughter of the soul is DEFINATELY worth checking out.

Yeah, they did but I think they made it pretty clear that it wasn't a reunion.. :(

Hey mum I had a listen to SotS but couldn't get into it much, guess they're just not my thang yo.

Slaughter of the Soul.... Yeah, everyone thinks that this is their best album and only album. Hello, Terminal Spirit Disease! That album is clearly the better one. Avoid SotS at all costs if you wanna get into ATG. Please get TSD. That is their best album, trust me on this. SotS ain't bad, don't get me wrong. I just hear about it every single time ATG is mentioned. It's very tiring.

Rock on, dude! TSD is quite an awesome At the Gates album. The only one I truly like. I listened to other ones, not really into it. I sampled a few tracks off 'em. TSD is the best.

At the Gates are the fucking gods of melodic death metal. Slaughter of the Soul is probably one of the most classic metal albums ever though the other stuff they've done is quiet good aswell

Slaughter of the Soul is mediocre.

The song Primal Breath on "With Fear I Kiss the Burning Darkness" is one of the best melodic death metal compositions...ever. Every note is full of dreary and dreamlike anguish.

Their melodies and structures were way more sophisticated before Terminal Spirit Disease. It's like they stopped being daring and adventurous and just carried on the template they'd set up for themselves aided by the veneer of better production.

Got SotS today! Cant wait to listen!
