Lone Rager was actually Megaforce Records founder Jon Z, backed by the members of The Rods. Being the first original written metal/rap crossover song ever recorded, it was released as a single in 1985. Later the song was included on the Deeper Into the Vault compilation released by Music From Nations in 1991.
