same here. my best friend gave me a tape 10 years ago Very Happy it was love at first..um..listen Very Happy
i think all their albums are great, they haven't lost any of their quality over the years. my fav album is The Number of the Beast..and Virtual XI, even though most people say that the Blaze-era was the worst era of Maiden. I like the albums they did with Blaze, but Blaze singing songs originally recorded by DiAnno or Dickinson, that's a no-go.

Everybody loves the Maiden. I went apeshit over them when I was younger and bought everything I could that had anything to do with them. Still think Somewhere In Time is unbeatable.

Also I love Di'anno era because they made some awesome songs but Blaze era's not really my thing.

Simply awesome... my favourite albums are "Somewhere in Time", "Powerslave", "Seventh Son of the Seventh Son", "Fear of the Dark" and "Number of the Beast".^^

I won't say "X-Factour" and "Virtual XI" are bad, but doubtless they're not as good as the other Maiden cds with Dickinson or Di'Anno...

I love this band. Good Albums and great live shows. For me the best Metal band ever.

BUT: The last good Studio-Album in my opinion was "Brave new world". The last outputs wasn't that good for me. Except "Rock in Rio" - for me the best live Album I ever heared. And the DVD is brilliant.

My fave-songs:

- Fear of the dark
- Run to the hills
- The wicker man
- The Trooper
- Number of the beast
- 2 minutes to midnight
- Hallowed Be Thy Name
- The Mercenary

my opinion:
iron maiden died in 1988, tried to reborn in 1992, but died again.........since then just average albums.
More than 16 years of nothing.....
Infinite dreams: best song

I never really gave Brave New World a fair shake. I listened to it a couple times over the past several days and I have to say. It's a very very good album.

The Wicker Man
Blood Brothers
Dream Of Mirrors are all great songs!!

Brave New World is really good, but Dance Of Death is even better, imo.
