| Yea they definitely are more progressive than progressive death. I love Deliverance, My Arms, You Hearse, and Blackwater Park. |

| I love Watershed, but if Mikael Akerfeldt song writing turns even more towards 70's progressive style, it may be best released under a different name. Or else I think he will be pissing off a lot of Opeth fans, at least the ones who have followed the band the last ten years or more... | |

| Honestly, the only tracks worth listening to off of Watershed are "Coil", "Heir Apparent", "The Lotus Eater", and "Porcelain Heart". Everything else was a snore fest. That's just my opinion, of course. | |

| Im gonna admit to being a bit of a dribbling opeth fan boy, as they're probably my all time favourite band.
personally, i think you could make an argument for any album from MA,YH onwards for being their best (perhaps excluding damnation).
Still life is my favourite, but i really liked watershed, and i like the direction Akerfeld is taking the band in. |

| The music is beutiful, but the lenght of their albums scares me off. I think that album should last for about 40-50 minutes, so I could easily listen to it in a whole. When I try to do it with Opeth I got bored after first 3 songs, so I need to listen them individualy. |

| I especially like the albums Still Life, Blackwater Park and Damnation. It took me a while before I bought Ghost Reveries and still didn't buy Watershed. Í think I am a bit tired of Opeth their sound, because in my opinion they are stuck in their sound. |

| I thought Watershed was more well liked than this. Personally I love it, think it's their most varied and interesting work yet. |

| I changed my mind, listened to them a little more the past few days and I have to say I judged them a little too quickly. They're really starting to grow on me, especially Blackwater Park, Still Life and Ghost Reveries Still not a very big fan of Watershed tho. And Damnation... I think I could really like it, if I'm in the right mood for it. Think it's one of those albume that I really have to be in the right mood to enjoy. |
