| Isis, how come I never made this thread? anyway, Isis are a sludge band with very atmospheric sludge, though. Formed in 97', from the US. 'Mosquito Control' is very cool. Bands still active and laid on album down already this year.
Any listeners? |

| I have all of their albums, excellent group. A lot of instrumentals and spaced out sounds, but great fucking music. Their album "Wavering Radiant" should be coming out soon. |

| I've got your blog feed set up in my RSS reader. Thanks for all the awesome free music Heat! After listening to some, I was compelled to hunt down more by certain bands and buy their other releases. Gee, I wonder if the R I A A will ever figure that shit out? haha - Heat wrote:

| Also worth checking out is the "in the fishtank" split with aerogramme.
Its interesting how their sound has progressed from the red sea to a pretty ambiant setup now. | |

| Early Isis > Later Isis
Probably blasphemy but both Mosquito Control and The Red Sea are some of my favourite sludge. I prefer that sound to the sound they had on Panopticon and the like. |

| Excellent band, I'm a great fan of Celestial. Sad to say I'm rarely in the mood for their music of late, so I haven't been listening to them as much as I used to. |

| Why, oh why did they have to split up? Such a great band! Do they have a weak album? No, I don't think so | |
