Black metal from Norway

A bit more to the extreme faster side, which is maybe why i liked them in the first place.

Drummer used to be in Gorgoroth and Satyricon which says loads.

Yeah I love Hellfire.

Good band. But i'd prefer Immortal or Mayhem with Marduk than 1349

Yeah Marduk rule but out of all of them I prefer Darkthrone.

1349 is one of the bm bands I can't seem to enjoy..what bothers me most is the 'raw' production..don't like that in black metal. I also prefer Marduk and Immortal over them.

I must agree with you guys, Marduk sounds better to me too.

I am easy either way, Marduk or 1349, both rule in my opinion.

The bridge riff on Nathicana is so amazing. Hellfire goes in and out of good and bad but that riff gets me every time.

Usually im not much into Black Metal, but 1349 rule.

1349 aren´t one of my fav bands, it took me quite some time to get used to this monotonous riffing and brutal stretching of the songs that could end in about 2 minutes. But with the time, I learned to appreciate them somehow.

And the drummer isn´t only great...FROST is a fucking machine and certainly one of THE best in the metal scene! He´s awesome

Their "newest" (Revelations of the Black Flame) didn´t come out yet, but it will on May 25th, at Candlelight. Looking forward to it!

Hellfire is my favourite.

Haha, I´m listening a lots of black metal, but can always listen just one 1349 album per day, because otherwise, I feel like minced meat. *chugga-chugga*
But then again, if they´d be catchy, that wouldn´t be 1349...

Just listening the new stuff. Killer atmospheric old school black metal!
They stopped being just fast and started being "true". They sound like every bm album should sound, imo : dark, powerful, grim and haunting.
