About the only modern thrash I'm finding myself enjoy is Blackened Thrash. This Poland based Black/Thrash metal band released Trücizna earlier this year, their 4th full length. I really like the fast and slopping guitar playing and their huge Sodom influence. Not very crossover but there are some parts with tinges of punk. The song Self-inflicted Divinity has a cool chant.

I second that one The more evil the better, most of the other new thrash bands -not all - but most seem to be trying too hard to look and sound like the old bands from the 80s. Anyway Witchmaster is definitely one of the more brutal bands out there.
