I'm on a huge Unleashed binge at the moment, they may have not been the greatest Swedish death metal act back in the day but they sure as fuck are now. I'd much rather jam Midvinterblot or Hammer Battalion than listen to any of the recent Grave or Entombed albums.

personally i think their first ep and first album are their best. but new shit is awesome too. im just not a fan of the stuff in the middle as much

I can barely see a difference between Where No Life Dwells and Hammer Battalion (besides production, of course). Their early records were great but the band seem to be playing with a renewed energy they didn't have back then. Just listen to Midvinterblot, This Day Belongs to Me or I Want You Dead, just balls out killer riffing with plenty of chops that makes you want to raise your horns and punch a yuppie.....makes you proud.
