hmm realized just now i never made a topic for these guys...
Jungle Rot is an American death metal band founded in Kenosha, Wisconsin and partly in Chicago.

Quote :
Jungle Rot was founded in 1994. After their first two demos, the band gets an American independent label by Pure Death Records, where they released their first album in 1996. Next year was the second album released, by Pulverizer Records, which was next year released again by Pavement Records. The EP "Darkness Fortold" was released by the small label S.O.D., which is controlled by the creator of the underground-music magazine "Sounds of Death". The next two albums were released by Olympic Recordings. Since 2005 the band hasn't any pact with a label, so the last album "Warzone" was released by themselves and sold over Crash Music, an American market. In 2008 they headlined a European tour with support from Warmaster, Downswitch and Walking Corpse The band signed with Napalm Records in January 2009 and released WHAT HORRORS AWAIT in June 2009.
from Wiki

they are basically old school death metal styled... and one of the best sounding bands ive seen live... sound as good or better then their actual studio releases... ive known the bassist for about 2 years now great guy... they do alot of shows here locally so i get to see em pretty much almost whenever i want lol... they do european tours once in a while... and in a long rare while they tour in the U.S.

gonna go see them on june 5th as they are gonna co-headline a show with Entombed.
if anyones around the chicago land area during that time u should hit me up so we can maybe have a few drinks and enjoy the show Twisted Evil

I enjoy Jungle Rot. I should listen to 'em more. My favorite album by them is Dead & Buried. Yeah, I think that's the name of the album.
