X Japan is a Japanese(no way!) metal band formed in 1992. X Japan were the most prominent members of a movement called "Visual
Kei", which was very popular in Japan during the 80s and 90s. The music
played by Visual Kei bands covered almost everything from pop to metal.
All bands were known for colourful, flamboyant clothes and very
extravagant hairstyling. They can be quite heavy at times but they are most known for their great ballads. I am a fan of the band and maybe there are others on the forum...? If you want to check 'em out, they're on the blog. The album there are those i would recommend. "Blue Blood" is a good starter.
