I like old Megadeth, not impressed with the new Megadeth moving more towards hard rock than thrash metal.

My father got me into Iron Maiden and Judas Priest and I got him into Megadeth.

First 3 cd's are great thrash metal, but Rust In Piece is MASTERPIECE. I love just everything about that album. Even Mustaine isn't annoying. It's a pitty that they started to play less technical and heavy metal. Don't get me wrong Countdown To Extinction and Youthanasia are both great albums, but with such album like RIP on their account it's a pitty that they didn't do anything in that direction.

My mother just listened to stuff like Uriah Heep, Nazareth and The Beatles when she was young XD and my father listens to Earth, Wind & Fire, Toto, Chicago and stuff like that XD

Anyway...I can't listen the Risk, It's makes me sick, very sick, this is crap like Endorama and I don't know what is worst, I don't know what happened to this band in the late '90,... look at The Gathering from Testament this is masterpiece...

I love Megadeth since '92 and there's nothing I can say against them, but Risk is awful and I think all the fans agree with that.

LoL! In my opinion this album is better than what they do from the '97 to the '01, but The System Has Failed first prove their back to the form.

Megadeth is my favorite of the "Big Four" thrash metal bands. I love Countdown to Extinction, Youthanasia, and Killing is My Business. United Abomintions was pretty decent too (definitely a lot better than Death Magnetic IMO). I got to see them at Gigantour '08

The new song Head Crusher is amazing. Definitely picking up Endgame when it comes out.

Holy shit. Words can't describe how AMAZING this is. EARGASM!!!! It's like the besrt parts of all their previous albums (especially Youthanasia and SFSGSW) mixed with some newness to create this awesomeness.

Megadeth are a tremendous thrash metal. Since day one, Dave Mustaine has been creating awesome and killer metal. They are truly gods of thrash metal and heavy metal in general. Megadeth are really fucking amazing and STK (my boyfriend) and I totally love 'em. Someday we will see them live together. That'll make my life more complete.

Peace Sells, Rust in Peace, So Far, Killing is My Business, and Youthnasia are essential albums to get. I highly suggest you all get those albums. Make sure you get the original sound recordings! You'll have to download 'em... they are unfortunately out of print. If you have the dough and time, get the physical copies!

Endgame is going to be a really amazing album. I say Endgame is the album of the year. Endgame is going to be the best album of 2009. It will be the epitome of metal in 2009! Shit, I think it'll be better than Creaturegore by Fondlecorpse.

Megadeth are IDOLS! one of my favorite bands, Dave is a great guitarist and has an enviable ability. My favorite album is Rust in Peace (i consider a masterpiece of thrash); the others are all good except the last work that i really do not like at all because I am always the same things done and redone.

I don't think the remasters were all that bad, I actually think the job they did on Rust In Peace was amazing. It sounds great.

To be fair I own the original recording on CD and vinyl as well, and they all sound great but yeah, I didn't have much of a problem with the remasters.

Megadeth are goods nothing more is needed to be said.
