Have to agree with Thorns on this one. Loved them before, and The Archaic Abattoir is still a real awesome album, but they got boring.

Good band, but not my favourite. I'm agree with you, their early stuff were much better

Archaic is definatly a brutal album... thats what got me to liking them... before i heard that album they seemed kinda boring to me...

my fave song from that album is Threading On Vermillion Deception

Pretty solid. I have their first 3 albums and the first two tracks off The Archaic Abattoir. Dead Wreckoning is my favorite Aborted song. It rules!

Thought Engineering The Dead was pretty unspectacular but I did enjoy Goremageddon and Archaic Abbatoir. Haven't actually listened to them in ages though.
