Ace Frehley

Ace Frehley (born 1951) was the original lead guitar player in Kiss. He released his first solo album in 1978 (as part of the Kiss solo albums).
His ongoing problems with alcohol and drugs got him fired from Kiss in 1982.
In 1987 he finally released his comeback album Frehley's Comet. It was followed by the EP Live + 1 and another two albums Second Sighting and Trouble Walkin'.

In 1996 the original Kiss reunited and he returned to the band. In 2000 he left the band for the second time.

Yet again he faced knee-deep problems, but finally in 2006 he got rid of his demons and started to record songs for a new solo album.

Anomaly was released earlier this year and shows that Ace Frehley is ready to fire up his Les Paul a couple of more years.

New album is ok. Sister is probably the best track IMO.

He is of the same age with my father :p and he is one of my icons and dinasours not dead.:p

Kiss was the band that got me into rock and then metal many many years ago and Ace was always my favourite. I've got a ticket for his show in Adelaide in February which i am hugely looking forward to. Anomaly is a pretty strong album. Favourite tracks would be Sister, Genghis Khan, Too Many Faces and Fox On The Run.
