Ion Vein

Ion Vein is a progressive/power metal band from Chicago, USA. Formed in 1994 they released their debut album Beyond Tomorrow in 1999. In 2003 the second full length Reigning Memories was out.
A third album is in the making, but no release date is confirmed yet.



Ion Vein come to my attention when I heard their version of Dio's Don't Talk To Strangers on the Awaken the Demon: Tribute to Dio album recently. Blowing most of the bands away with their version of the classic Dio tune.

I recommend Reigning Memories for all who wants to check out this band.
