| Vicious Rumors is a power/heavy metal band from Santa Rosa, USA. They formed in 1980 and six years later the first album Soldiers of the Night was released. The band is still active and have released nine full-lenghts, a couple live albums, EPs, VHS' and DVDs. Geoff Thorpe (guitar) is the only original member left, and the band have throughout the years been under constant line-up changes. Several well known musicians have at one point or another been in the band. Vinnie Moore (solo, UFO), Brad Gillis (Ozzy, Night Ranger), Steve Smyth (Testament, Nevermore) and James Rivera (Helstar, Seven Witches, Thrasher) is some of them. All in all there have been more than 30 line-up changes since they started out. I've only heard their first two albums Soldiers of the Night and Digital Dictator.
