Classical Music Discussion

Talk about your favorite composers, pieces, and the like. My favorite composers are Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, and Vivaldi, among others.

I really enjoy classical music sometimes...

and i DESPISE it when people come up to me and go like "Oh so now you listen to this? what happened to all your *growls*?"

meh anyway, composers...

Tchaikovsky and Bach are badass, so is Mozart. Chopin is aiight too

I don't really listen to Classical.

Classical music is great, but i don't listen to it

Classical music is great and I love listening to it. My favourite composers are Vivaldi, Paganini, Brahms, Shostakovich, Chopin, Mendehlsson, Beethoven, Mozart, Bach and Richard Strauss. Pretty much what everyone loves

A few of my favourites...I particularly love Romantic and Contemporary classical music.

Stravinsky, and Shostakovich mostly, but a small smattering of other things (firebird fucking ROCKS)

I really enjoy it but rarely listen to classical. I like Beethoven and Chopin

Wagner is my favorite classical music artist. I'm also into Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, etc. Just about any of 'em. My mom owns many classical artist CDs, except for Wagner. She doesn't like Wagner at all for some reason. One of these days I'll import those into my iTunes library. Classical music is good stuff.

Well the fact that the guy was a prick and pretty much a fascist before there were fascists could have something to do with it...

The creed of "who cares what the guys think provided they make good music" isnt shared by all.

Also Vivaldi, Debussy, Chopin, Franz Liszt. And i prefer classical music performed with piano.

Grieg is the shit. I love Schubert and Arvo Pärt also.

This guy knows what's up. Definitely the most metalhead accessible eras of classical, dark and often dissonant in ways the blackest metal cannot hope to compare to. I'd just add Penderecki to that list, and namedrop the Kronos Quartet.

Rite of Spring is an amazing piece of music.

Kind of new classical/ contempoary , Ludovico Einaudi is a real genius.

Been listening to Black Angels by George Crumb a fair bit lately.

These days I've really been feeling Bach. WHAT a composer!
