| Wagner is my favorite classical music artist. I'm also into Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, etc. Just about any of 'em. My mom owns many classical artist CDs, except for Wagner. She doesn't like Wagner at all for some reason. One of these days I'll import those into my iTunes library. Classical music is good stuff. |

| Well the fact that the guy was a prick and pretty much a fascist before there were fascists could have something to do with it...
The creed of "who cares what the guys think provided they make good music" isnt shared by all. | |

A few of my favourites...I particularly love Romantic and Contemporary classical music. This guy knows what's up. Definitely the most metalhead accessible eras of classical, dark and often dissonant in ways the blackest metal cannot hope to compare to. I'd just add Penderecki to that list, and namedrop the Kronos Quartet. |

| John Dowland: doom before metal existed. Big fan of Brahms, Bartók, Penderecki, Philip Glass, Stravinsky, Beethoven, Grieg, Debussy, Vivaldi... Been listening to Black Angels by George Crumb a fair bit lately. | |
