Fozzy is a heavy metal band from Atlanta, USA, fronted by professional wrestler Chris Jericho, and also including musicians from Stuck Mojo and on their recent album, guests from other established metal bands.

Fozzy started out as Fozzy Osbourne, a cover band assembled by Rich Ward from whatever musicians he could find on a given week.

In 1999, Jericho met Ward in San Antonio after a wrestling show, and was invited to play with the band. Jericho sat in on a few sessions, but did not plan to play with them permanently.

In 2000, unable to wrestle for four months due to a severe ankle injury, Jericho re-joined the band and became its front man.

Fozzy’s first two albums, Fozzy and Happenstance, consisted mostly of cover songs. Their third album, All That Remains, consisted entirely of original tracks.

They recently released their fourth album Chasing The Grail.

Anyone else listening to the band? Chasing The Grail is really good and I also enjoy their Happenstance album a lot.

I like their covers a lot. Too bad that their own tracks are lacking creativity.

I thought chasing the Grail was a solid album. I don't care for covers a lot and prefer a bands original material. Certainly worth a listen. Good call. cheers

Never really listened to them before...I did hear a cover track or two...

I grabbed their latest album Chasing The Grail yesterday...

I made it through 1 1/2 times before sending it to the junk pile...A lot of it was more like Adult Contemporary than it was Heavy Metal...

Not my cup of pee...
