Crystalic

Crystalic is a melodic/progressive death metal band from Finland. Formed in 1998 it took nine years for their first album to be released in 2007. This year their follow up has been released titled "Persistence".

Crystalic play a mix of technical progressive death metal in form of the legends Death, with many chuldiner like solos and so on. But a bit more melodic sounds, this definds Crystalic.


Worth a listen? Hell yes, not usual with these kind of band nowdays.

Just listened through Persistence and i'm impressed. It's a great follow up. they have matured in their sound and have created a dynamic record that has a certain flow to it all the way to the end.

Bump for this band! All fans of Death should check em out. They have also made a tribute dvd to Chuck Shuldiner.

I kinda drifted away from most Death Metal related genres. I will give em a spin though.

Yeah i hear you, i'm starting to drift away more and more from them as well. Some good old OSDM ain't wrong as well as Death though. I think you will like em.
