I saw that there was no thread about the pioneers of speed metal. Yes, this band has influenced countless amounts of thrash metal bands. Balls to the Wall rules!

I can't come up with any songs by Accept that should even slightly remind of AC/DC. Are you sure it was Accept . I will recommend you to check out Restless & Wild.

Accept do kind of sound like AC/DC. It is Udo Dirkschneider (lead vocalist of Accept) who sounds like Bon Scott in a way. In my opinion, I think Accept rules over AC/DC. AC/DC is cool, don't get me wrong. But I love Accept over 'em.

Accept is currently in studio to record a comeback album. As Udo D. isn't taking part of this reunion, Mark Tornillo (ex-TT Quick) will handle the vocal duties on the upcoming album. The line-up will be Wolf Hoffmann (g), Peter Baltes (b), Herman Frank (g), Mark Tornillo (v) and Stefan Schwarzmann (d). Andy Sneap will be producing the album.
OK. Udo will be missed, but Mark Tornillo is a kick-ass singer as well. With Andy Sneap producing it, the sound will be flawless. This can be a pretty decent album after all....

I've seen them 3 times here. In April 1985 they opened up for Krokus, 2 monthe later, they opened for Iron Maiden, and in July 1986 they opened up for Dio. Kicked ass every time!

Here's a new song from the forthcoming album Blood Of The Nations. I have to admit...I'm impressed...Mark Tornillo voice seem to fit nicely with the traditional Accept sound.
