I bought the album Pilgrimage last month at FYE (more on that later), and it is a great album. I think that the vocals/bass and drums as the line-up is very unique and original. In spite of that small amount of instruments, they do manage to fill up the atmosphere of the music as if there were more instruments. Sometimes, I find it hard to believe that that is actually a bass guitar being played by Al Cisneros, since I'm not really used to bass guitar sounding like that.
Also, about the fact that I bought it at FYE, I find it pretty interesting. Usually, I would have to order something like this off the internet, but I was shopping in the Mall of America in Minnesota and happened to find this album in the store. It is awesome that FYE has their own heavy metal CD section, and there was some real surprises in that section as well. There was stuff by Electric Wizard, Enslaved, Turisas, Sunn O))), old Behemoth, Wolves in the Throne Room, stuff like that. FYE is an amazing store. I wish FYE was still in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where it used to be (that's where I live).
