| Ride the Lightning is simply brilliant album. Must be my favourite Thrash Metal album. ...and Justice for All is also very powerful and good album. Kill 'em All would be good album, if they'd have better mixing there. Metallica, or "The Black Album" has also some good tracks, but the thing started to smell like money in that album. And well, they've managed to be very gay since 1991, new albums are totally bullshit.
Oh yeah, and what album is missing? Master of Puppets! Sorry guys, but I don't understand why people worships this album... Battery and Master of Puppets are only good tracks there, others are average/bad.

They actually looked for a another singer prior to recording Ride the Lightning as James didn't felt comfortable singing. John Bush (Armored Saint, Anthrax) was offered the job, but turned them down as Armored Saint scored a major record deal with Chrysalis.

| James Hetfield is a badass rhythm guitarist I've got to say, one of the best imo. He's a big guy, playing chunky riffs and having a blast doing it. | |

| I like the raw aggrassion of "Kill em all", the great songs on "Ride the Lightning". RTL ist their best, i think. On the master-album i don't like the production. The black one is also nice. | |

| The Black album is prolly the best produced metal album of all time. The sound is so huge! | |

| I've always like the Black Album. I know it was the beginning of the end of the thrash metallica sound, still a good album | |

| I over-listened to these guys in the early days but enjoy spinning their albums once in a while, including St Anger. Never really bothered with Death Magnetic though. | |

| Just listened to Death Magnetic for the first time since it came out. It's not nearly as bad as I remember, but the songs are far too long. | |

| Don't think I've listened to it yet.. I do think I should but I also think I have to be in the right "mood" to give it justice, if you know what I mean. | |
