| I doubt they'll be back. They did a tour for the fun of it and said as much. They wanted to go out and relive some glory days, have some fun and bring music to people who missed them first time round. I missed them again and doubt I'll get another chance. I like the music from all their eras. They went from a top notch grindcore band, to a top notch DM band, to a top notch proto melodic death band. |

It's a shame a lot people can't recognise their Melo Death era as being good. |

| They're easily one of the only melo death bands I can get into actually. I highly enjoy them in that part aswell. |

| Why is that? If you can get into Carcass why cant you with other bands? |

I think mostly because the majority of melo-death is very pop-ish. I can't stand most melo-death either. Old melo-death was good but I don't like the way it's evolved. New melo-death consists of writing about 2-3 hooky riffs and repeating them throughout the song with someone growling over it and some very average drumming. Basically, death metal songs with pop song structures. |

| Seeing Carcass live changed my life. I believe every true metalhead has a turning point where they go from just being a "fan of metal" to becoming a "metalhead". Carcass's live show was my turning point, and easily the most entertaining show I've been to. If you get the chance to see them while they're still touring, DO NOT pass it up! | |

| Yep, saw them last year and it was a killer show. Meshuggah was on the next day and Down after that, needless to say I was broke at the end of it all. | |

| I've missed them when they came to Italy (both times, indeed...) but I'm a big fan of them. Necroticism is still my favourites, without any doubt one of the best collection of death metal riffs around... | |

I think only their first album can be considered Grind. Everything else was Death Metal.

| Pretty cool Band, i prefer the later stuff, Like Heartwork and Swansong...The grind-albums are also pretty good, but i don't like them so much like the newer stuff. Live they were bad... | |

| Best grind and death there is. I saw them live this year, and first time 2 years ago. Both shows kicked ass.
Jeff Walker is and always will be King of Gore.
