    Stratovarius are a Melodic Power Metal band from Finland. Fright Night, Dreamspace and Destiny are all fantastic albums. They have a new album coming out in May.

    I think Fourth Dimension is a good album to start with. It's not their very best, but you get an idea on how they sounded on their first albums and what direction they headed for later.

    Timo Tolkki have teamed up with the rest of the line-up that recorded Dreamspace in 1994 to mark Stratovarius 30 year anniversary next year and record a follow up to the Dreamspace album. The band with no-name-so-far will release the new album Return To Dreamspace in January 2012.

    The line-up is Timo Tolkki (guitars & vocals), Tuomo Lassila (drums), Anti Ikonen (keyboards) and Jari Kainulainen (bass).
