Any fans of VH and/or David Lee Roth? These bands needs no intros, so uhh yeah. Discuss away!
Personally, I'm more of a David Lee Roth fan. He has found much more talented guitar players when he went solo. Steve Vai and Jason Becker are the most notable.

I like some older Van Halen a little but to me it's been over played so much everywhere you go that I don't ever put on their cd's..If they are on the radio I'll leave it on but as far as spinning their albums, I don't anymore.

It have to be the early albums by VH. Like the first one and Women And Children First. I also find OU812 quite decent. That's one with Sammy Hagar, though.
All you need from David Lee Roth solo era is Eat 'Em And Smile. It beats most of the stuff VH ever released, but rest of his albums is weak...

Eat 'Em And Smile is an excellent album. It has a lot of variation in it. It's not just rock. It is one helluva colorful album. DLR rules!

Poundcake from F.U.C.K. is a really good song. The non-album track Crossing Over is another fave from the Hagar era. I've been listening a few times to the Fair Warning album lately...not too bad, but the weakest with D. L. Roth imo...
